I'm taking steps to create opportunities for young people who never really had a first chance.
For 30 years I've worked to help create better futures for disadvantaged young people who fall through the cracks, have suffered from poverty, violence, abuse and who end up in the youth justice system. I'm going to walk 10,000 steps a day in April for national Second Chance Month and think about the young people who, largely through no fault of their own, don't have the freedom like I do to join this national event. I'm asking you to donate to support opportunities for them like scholarships and employment experience and so they can buy basic necessities when they are released from facilities. Every little bit will help. Thank you!
